Our Team

Om Gandhi (C’25 E’25)

Om is a junior from Barrington, IL studying bioengineering, neuroscience, and public health. He conducts research on cancer immunotherapy, tumor metabolism, and clinical oncologic imaging at Penn Medicine and CHOP. On campus, he’s the Co-President of the Penn Hindu-Jain Association, Consulting Chair for the Penn Undergraduate Biotech Society, and Editor-in-Chief of the Penn Healthcare Review.

Tej Patel (C’25 W’25)

Tej is a junior from Billerica, MA studying Molecular Biology, Healthcare Management, and Statistics through the LSM program. He is an active student researcher interested in all things oncology, health disparities, and health care delivery. On campus, he’s a coordinator for the Netter Center Pipeline program, analyst for Wharton Investment Trading Group, and former associate editor of Penn Bioethics Journal.

Ujjayi Pamidigantam (C’25 W’25)

Ujjayi is a junior in the LSM Program from North Brunswick, NJ. She is studying Biology and Healthcare Management with research interests in nutritional intervention for disease management, cancer immunotherapy, and equity-promoting tools for underserved communities. Ujjayi is also involved with PennThillana, Penn Bioethics Journal, the WALK Fashion Magazine, and Wharton Women’s Pro-Bono Consulting Group.

Chris Wun (E’25)

Chris is a junior from New York City studying bioengineering and computer information science. He’s developing closed-loop neurochemical modulation devices with the Penn Center for Neuroengineering and Therapeutics at PennMedicine. On campus, he is involved with the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) Outreach Committee, sings Tenor for PennYo A Cappella, and volunteers with Penn’s Shelter Health Outreach Program (SHOP).

Sunnie Li (E’26)

Sunnie is a sophomore from San Jose, California majoring in bioengineering. She strives to use her interest in biotechnology to make technology more accessible to people. On campus, Sunnie is also involved in Wharton Undergraduate Healthcare Club, Penn Undergraduate Biotech Society, Wharton Asia Investments, and UPenn badminton.

Shailesh Senthil (C’26 W’26)

Shailesh is a sophomore from San Jose, CA studying molecular biology, healthcare management and finance. He conducts research on cancer and neurodegenerative disorder diagnostics and molecular technology development at Penn Medicine and Bioengineering. On campus, he is actively involved in Penn Undergraduate Biotech Society, Wharton Undergraduate Healthcare Club, LSM Advisory Board, and volunteers at the VA Hospital and Magee Rehabilitation Center.

Sanya Mehta (C’24 W’24)

Sanya is a senior in the LSM program from Louisville, KY studying Biology and Healthcare Management. On campus, she works as a volunteer at the VA hospital and as a student researcher at CNDR studying mice models of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. To fulfill her interest in addressing healthcare disparities, she is working as a research intern at CHOP analyzing the frequency of non-accidental trauma evaluations in cases of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests.

Samuel Anchipolovsky (C’24 W’24)

Sam is a senior from Oradell, NJ studying Neuroscience and Healthcare Management through the LSM program. He conducts research on repurposed therapies for neurodegenerative disorders at Penn Medicine. On campus, he’s an executive VP of the Penn Undergraduate Biotech Society and is a coordinator for the Netter Center Educational Pipeline Program.

Andrew Schmidt (C’26 W’26)

Andrew is a sophomore from Manhattan, NY studying molecular biology and healthcare management in the LSM program. He conducts research on cellular immunotherapies for pancreatic cancer at Penn Medicine. He has also worked as a research intern for Allogene Therapeutics, a biotech company seeking to create an allogeneic form of CAR-T therapy.
